Belton Missouri ~ 3rd Place State Champs ! ! !

We have been so extremely busy this summer. I have finished a couple of classes online and the boys have been so busy with baseball. It's starting to wind down and we are just now able to relax and enjoy a little bit of our Summer, well what's left of it!

We took a trip to Belton for our State baseball tournament. There we fought like lions to get where we got! We were so proud of our boys for what they accomplished. With their hard work and determination, they placed 3rd in State. We are so extremly proud of them.

While there we also got to not only celebrate 3rd place winning, but John Dakota's 13th birthday! John Dakota is not that into partying especially if the spot light is put on him. He made it through it. We all met at the hotel pool that evening and ordered pizza, swam, and had cake and ice cream. It was a mini delight!

We also got to experience a very exciting Royals game. They played against the Brewers. Very exciting finish. The kids had never been to a game, so they thought the stadium and surroundings was awesome!!

We met up with some of the other boys from our team and got to spend the rest of the evening with  them. Boys had a great time!!

Midnight snack....I took them all to Mcdonalds later that night. I felt like a kid again, as well!
John Dakota pitching his best.

Jacey got to meet her new friend, Scout! It was love at first sight!

There were many adventures on this trip. We got to celebrate John Dakota's 13th birthday. We got to see the Royals kick some bootay. We got to take John Dakota and the team to celebrate a big win and also his birthday at Hooter's. The boys were stoked for this, JD, on the other hand was not. He was seriously embarrased! It was a great time and great memories!! While there we got to spend some good quality time with our great friend Natalie. It's always great to see her. The kids just love her to pieces and pretty sure she feels the same way about them!

The team that we wanted to beat ( and everbody wanted us to beat ) was Lebanon. We started out and kicked tailend, and did not give up! It was a very hard fought game, but we pulled it off and beat them like 8-6. They were very intimidating b/c of their height. We rocked that diamond though!!!

Good times were had by all, most definately!!!

Jay's 1st Turkey on the Lee Ponderosa!

Jay set out to find the "big one" on the farm. The first morning (Sat) he shot at one in like the first five minutes he was out there. He missed the Tom but hit a hen. Whhooopps, but it was good eatn' that night. Then Sunday Jason, Chase and Jay set out again. It took them awhile but I finally got my text message picture of him and the turkey. I was so excited, as he was too!
Cheeseballs for this one!

Stairway to Heaven!

The kids and I took this picture while leaving our driveway to go to a ball game the other night. We thought the clouds were amazing and it looked like the "Stairway To Heaven".

You Can't Take The Country Out of the Girl ! ! !

At the end of the show giving hand shakes!
Oh, the trouble with girls!
Saturday night we had a great night with the fam at the Brad Paisley concert. Scotty McCeery ( the boys always get me because I pronounce it wrong) openened the show up. Although, I'm not a huge Scotty fan, I am amazed that he's a Senior in High School and is opening concerts up for Brad Paisley. He definately has talent and a very DEEP voice!

This would be my dream to have Jacey sing with her brothers in a band.

The new hottest band in country music right now. I love The Band Perry! She was very entertaining! I've got to see them again, soon!

Brad was Amazing! The name of his tour is The Virtual Reality. It consisted of tons of laser lights and huge screen that displayed videos while he was singing. If you got tired of watching Brad (who could) then you could watch the screen behind him. During one time of the concert he walked right in front of us. We were about 4 rows from the floor and went to his stage in the back. It's funny to watch the people react when he gets that close to him. I wonder if I would do the same though ? ? During the song "Water" it looked like he jumped into a tank of water and on the big screen you could see him swim all the way across the stage.
This is him as he stands on his stage to the back of the Arena

The Band Perry and Brad singing "whiskey lullaby" originally sung by Alison Kraus

The song he sings with Carrie Underwood was really neat too. With all the technology that they had it looked like behind the curtain she was coming out on stage. Everyone was pumped! But then when they showed her you could tell it really wasn't her. They sang it together perfectly though!

John Paul and I can mark more singers off of our bucket list. Great times!!!

It's Spring Weather In Missouri!

-I can't believe this weather. I'm so nervous about what this summer is going to bring! Bugs, Mesquitos, Heat........dreading it ! I'm pretty sure we are going to see the buggiest and hottest summer ever! Not good when we have about 15 baseball tournaments to sit through! Atleast we can come home to our pool and swim in the moonlight like we did last year. On to better things......This little guy!

How can you not love this little dirty face?

Jax and I have been spending some days outside in the morning. It's so beautiful on the farm and while it's warm out, we got out and played. The pictures that I snapped of him, he is playing with Be-Pa's truck! Jax is really liking cars now. Anything that has wheels and that he can push!

Showcase Weekend

Jacey & Aunt Jen! Jacey got to put the head gear ( is that what it's called) to the dance "Blackbird" She was stoked!!

Columbia Mall

Jacey at our Hotel! Little Stinker!
This last weekend Mom, Jacey and I headed to Columbia to watch Jen's showcase performances. The dances, once again were unbelievable. Jen sure knows how to do it! Jacey watched those girls like a hawk. She loved it! We sure are proud to have such a talented and creative Aunt/ Sister-n-law! Danny, Dee, Me-Ma and Marsha were able to make it, along with Vicki and Maggie! What a fun group to hang out with. Of course, time flies so fast so there really wasn't much time to just sit around and talk. It was a super fun weekend, but went way to fast!
Jacey enjoying a little hot tub action!

Jacey got the whole stage to her self.
